"Ashta Laabh of Khadi Prakritik Paint"

The availability of cow dung in India is approximately 1,446 tons per year. Its abundant availability is a unique blessing, and it is mostly used in the form of food and fuel. To utilize this blessing effectively, the Kumarpappa National Handmade Paper Institute, under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Self-Reliant Campaign, has successfully experimented in making distemper paint and plastic emulsion paint from cow dung. This innovation has been supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. The process of making this paint from cow dung began on January 12 2021, named "Khadi Prakritik Paint," it has also been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
